This apartment is absolutely gorgeous! The pictures really don't do it justice. It has a lovely entrance courtyard off which there is a kitchen and then the main studio space which has a large dining table, large lounge area and two mezzanines, one which has the main double bed. It is very spacious and has been decorated and furnished very stylishly. It is also perfectly located in San Telmo with a lovely tapas restaurant just next door. We loved our stay here and would definitely return and recommend it to friends and family. The owners live just next door, and leave you in peace but are available if you need help, which is the perfect balance! Couldn't recommend it highly enough!

The apartment was nice and airy and quiet which is great. The front doors open onto a lovely courtyard so ideal for dining outside. I really like the open space. We used both the heating and the aircon and they coped well when we were there. The bathroom is quite small and the shower is not of the power variety but I would stay there again.

It was wonderful. We enjoyed being able to cook, it was a fully equipped kitchen , we only had to go out to buy oil and spices. Very well located to everything we wanted: mercados, shoe stores, a CD player to play all the music we bought and the most wonderful restaurant next door plus a short walk to a taxi in any direction. Francisco & Mirna, the owners, live right next door and were always available if we had a question. We will be back for sure.

We would unreservedly recommend this apartment as the owners, Mirna and Francisco, were incredibly friendly and helpful and had a big influence on how much we enjoyed our stay. We very much appreciated that they speak excellent English, and we followed up their good recommendations for places to eat and visit, and their advice on travel and changing currency. They definitely went above and beyond what we'd expected - many thanks! We had a fantastic stay in Buenos Aires, and highly recommend San Telmo as a district. We were really happy with the apartment - it has bags of character and is right in the middle of a great area, with restaurants, cafes, heladeria, milongas and markets on the doorstep (including a great venue for live music right next door). Walking into the city centre and down to the Port was completely manageable (whilst five months pregnant!), with lots of street art and shops to enjoy on the way. Having the independence to come and go as we pleased was definitely the best way to enjoy the city. We had everything we needed in the apartment, and made use of the aircon, the sunny patio AND the heating, during an unseasonably hot week in winter! It is comfortably fitted out - we spent one cozy evening on the sofa watching a DVD, but mostly we followed Francisco's advice to get out and enjoy the city's nightlife! The kitchen facilities are fine (we had planned to cook for ourselves but ended up eating out most of the time as restaurant prices are so reasonable). Likewise the bathroom, as long as you are happy to shower rather than bathe. Finally, we'd urge any visitors to take advantage of the opportunities to tango in San Telmo! The Maldita Milonga (Peru 571) is a brilliant night out, and very welcoming to total beginners like us.

Very freindly hosts. We had a wonderful visit to Buenos Aires. The location of this apartment was perfect for us as we were able to enjoy in particular the antiques market, old cafe´s and informal restaurants. There were some problems with the internet, but everthing possible was done to resolve this as soon as possible. The care that was taken for us was a nice surprise in such a large and anonymous city!

We had a perfect really good stay in this apartment. It offered everything we needed and was really cosy with nice details. Especially the own little patio inside a closed green patio was so nice! It is very central and supermarkets, bars and the famous tango bars from san telmo are really close. Thanks for the good time. We can definitely recommend this apartment!

My wife and I and our friend had a wonderful stay in the apartment. The patio is wonderful, and the location is perfect! Francisco and Mirna were very helpful as well. If you are looking to stay in the heart of San Telmo in a spacious apartment with a wonderful outdoor space, you should book!

This apartment is amazing! Completely amazing! The facility is absolutely gorgeous and full of character. You can't tell how very stylish it is from the pictures. The man who designed the apartment is a professional artist and his eye for design shines through. I had friends over often for dinner and they often commented about how it was the "perfect" apartment and I saw many jaws drop over how cool it was. The outdoor patio gets sun and is a great place to relax and have a glass of wine. The hosts who own the apartment live next door, speak perfect English, and are very kind and helpful. The internet worked wonderfully, which was great because I needed it for work. The only thing I would warn visitors about is that this wouldn't be a great place for people with very young children or would have difficulty with stairs. I think very young children (maybe <5) would be afraid of the stairs to the loft, which are open and don't have traditional banisters. Otherwise, I would advise everyone to stay here. Also, I was a little scared of bringing the rent in cash and handing it over to people I don't know...no problem at all. As for the location, also great. No, this isn't in the trendy, modern areas--this is in a very traditional, old, beautiful neighborhood full of character. I was a woman (blond) traveling alone and never felt intimidated by the neighborhood. Stay here. You will love it!

We've been staying for 2 weeks in this appartment and we'll definitely come back again! The appartment was just great, we enjoyed every day in- and outside in the lovely patio. The owner, Francisco, was very helpful and we really felt at home. He even invited us for a tango show just across the street! He spoke English (thats really not standard in Argentina!), which helped us a lot, because our Spanish was very basic at the beginning. Furthermore, the “check-in“ was very easy. the owner was already waiting for us at the appartment. We had other appartments in Argentina / Chile and it was always a problem to find a responsible, get the key and so on... Summary: absolutely recommendable!
