The medialunas are delicious and you cannot visit this country without trying them. The difference between medialunas and French croissants is their size: ours are much smaller; they can be made from a base of butter or fat, sweet or salty and can also be filled with dulce de leche (a local caramel spread) or custard cream or covered with chocolate lines.
