Mercado de San Telmo, one of the famous landmarks of San Telmo, is a massive market. Occupying a quater of a block, it can be entered from the streets Defensa, Carlos Calvo, Bolívar and Estados Unidos. The market was built in 1897, one of the works of the architect Juan Buschiazzo.
