The time in the apartment was great. It is located in the heart of San Telmo. You can reach nice cafes, bars and restaurants in just a minute. The special thing about this rooms, it is an oasis with a great garden, pool and a wonderful host!! Mercedes is incredibly helpful and a wonderful person. She took me to a lot of great Tango Places and classes and helped me with all my little questions. If you want to go to Buenos Aires, stay at Mercedes Apartment!!

Great apartment with lots of character close to all the San Telmo action. We arrived Sunday afternoon and were able to enjoy the free tango show in the plaza just down the street. Mercedes was great. We had an unfortunate experience with a thief (not in the apartment, it's very safe and secure) and Mercedes accompanied us to the police station and spent over an hour interpreting for us. Amazing service. There's some great cafes and a decent sized market within a block. Easy taxi rides to lots of attractions including La Boca, pink palace etc.

Lovely apartment in a great location. The shared pool and patio area is a particularly nice oasis in busy, hot summer BA. Mercedes was a wonderful host, even inviting us to a New Year's Eve party at her apartment.

If you are looking for the best experience in BA stay here! Merecedes has created an amazing space in San Telmo that is truly unique. Her flare for design, style and fun welcomes you from the minute you arrive at Casa San Telmo! The property itself is situated in the heart of San Telmo, the bohemian hub of BA. Amazing antique shops, restuarants, vintage clothes and the famous San Telmo Sunday market is on your door step. Our stay here was and will always be one of our best memories of our 11 month world trip. The property was clean, comfortable, homely and safe. Mercedes was a perfect host and assisted us with good restuarant reccommendations and also a little tango lesson to!

If you're wanting the experience of living like a Porteño, this is the place to stay! This place has everything you need. Mercedes is a fabulous person and host. She is also a tanguera so if you do the tango or are wishing to venture into it, she is very accommodating as she loves the tango. The courtyard is beautiful and perfect for sitting in on a beautiful day. As a cat lover, it was also amazing to have Sandro the house cat come and visit for cuddles. I will not hesitate to stay in this lovely apartment again on my return to Buenos Aires. Very close to everything-especially the wonderful Mercado de San Telmo which has the best coffee in BA,not to mention beautiful produce if you choose to cook your meals at home. Everything you need is close to this apartment. I loved my time here. Gracias Mercedes!

We love our stay at this apartment of Mercedes. The place is very nice, beautifully furnished, a complete house. It is a very central location in San Telmo, next to numerous markets, cafes, restaurants and the famous feria de san Telmo. It is also very easy to take buses from here to any interesting location in the city. Mercedes was very nice to us. We had a problem with the flight and arrived at dawn, yet she received us very friendly. We stayed for thirteen days in this house and only once had a problem with hot water, which was quickly resolved by the team of Mercedes. The photos are in agreement with the real home, only the bathroom is not as nice as the picture. I strongly recommend a stay here and I come back for sure! (Translation by Google) Nós amamos a estadia neste apartamento da Mercedes. O lugar é muito gostoso, lindamente decorado, uma casa completa. Está num local bem central em San Telmo, próximo de muitos mercados, cafés, restaurantes e da famosa feira de san Telmo. Também é muito fácil pegar ônibus daqui para qualquer interessante local da cidade. Mercedes foi muito agradável conosco. Nós tivemos um problema com o voo e chegamos de madrugada, ainda assim ela nos recebeu de forma muito simpática. Ficamos durante treze dias nesta casa e apenas uma vez tivemos problema com a água quente, que foi resolvido rapidamente pela equipe de Mercedes. As fotos estão de acordo com a casa verdadeira, somente o banheiro não é tão legal como na fotografia, mas não fez diferença. Eu recomendo muito a estadia aqui e voltaria com certeza!

This place is just as pictured, cute, part of original old house, timber brick ceilings from 1880's. It's Rustic, but clean, good use of space and arty details. Location is perfect, one block from Plaza Dorrego,cafes,mini-marts,police station,starbucks,food,subway, on quiet street. Pool is good for dipping. Staff was helpful upon arrival and departing.

I absolutely adored my stay in this beautiful apartment, and would say to anybody thinking of staying in San Telmo that they simply must stay in this amazing colonial house. I spent a week here with my girlfriend and will definitely be coming back. The apartment is stunning and takes you back in time, the service is impeccable and we really felt that we got a unique taste of what it would be like to live in San Telmo all year round. Don't waste your time anywhere else!

Casa San Telmo is beautiful and in a great location, close to many great cafes restaurants, bars, gallaries and the wonderful San Telmo Faire on Sunday. I stayed here for three weeks and in Septemeber and Mercedes and her staff could not have been more accomodating. She really made me feel at home in Buenos Aires and the next time I am in Buenos Aires I will be sure to stay at Casa San Telmo.
